Why become a member ?

Besides of receiving an ID,

The athlete that is a member of the LBFFJ, will be able to:

• Compete in all competitions organized by the federation

• Get discounts on registrations

• Have an official recognition of your Ranking

• We will keep an official record of the athlete for future verification when allying for an official Black Belt under the International Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation.

• Based on this records an athlete can request an official certificate of his competition results. For personal use or when soliciting sponsorship.

• You will be eligable for prizes and awards that are exclusive to federation members.

Why my school should become a member ?

All schools in the state of Louisiana would benefit by becoming a member, by having a support network to assist you in organizing and expanding Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Grappling.

• A yearly calender of competitions and organized competitions under the Federation.

• Assistance developing the skills of your gym and athletes

• Motivating students by holding local competitions

• Be listed as an official school with address, phone and website on lbjjf.com.

• Will be eligable to receive awards and trophies in the teams competition.

• Your students will get discounts on their registrations.

• Boothspace at the official federation competition, for selling your gym products and giving information to perspective students.

• LBJJF will investigate you application

• Payment of the annual affiliation fee

• LBJJF will investigate you application, checking your gym and ranking.

• Payment of the annual affliation fee

• White belts do not need any kind of check.

• Purple belts and Up, Belt Certificate sign by a Black Belt, Contact information of your professor and a brief resume

Can I Become a member even if i do not want to fight gi?

Yes, you will receive your ID and instead of having your ranking( White Belt) , it will be NO GI

Can I Become a member even if my school is not a member of LBJJF?

Yes , you can be a member ,but in this case you will fight as a individual not part of a team.

How much is to affiliate my school to the LBJJF?

U$120.00 a year.

How much is to become a member of the LBJJF?

the annual fee will be U$25.00.

Renewals U$15.00.

Life Membership: $200.00

Members receive a LBJJF Membership Card, which they simply present when registering at LBJJF or IBJJF competitions during the 12 month period.
